Join the Waldo County Soil and Water Conservation District, Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, Maine Forest Service, and Maine Woodland Owners for an interactive, hands-on workshop on gravel road design, soil mechanics, and water quality protection.
Led by retired State Soil Scientist Dave Rocque, alongside state forestry and water quality specialists, this event combines morning classroom discussion with an extensive field tour across active road sites at Frye Mountain Wildlife Management Area.
