Conservation Services Fees

Our Conservation Assistance Program (CAP) services are offered for free or for a modest fee. An initial site visit for up to 1.5 hours is free. For written recommendations, management plans, and additional visits, fees are charged as follows. Non-profits, schools and community projects may have fees waived or reduced.

Landowner Technical Assistance

One free visit, 1-1.5 hours

Additional site visits $50/hour, 1 hour minimum, plus mileage at current federal rate

Basic written recommendations based on initial visit: $150

Property management plan $50 per hour

Additional Consultants: Engineers, Erosion Specialists, Pesticide Applicators, GIS

Billed independently to client by consultant

Local Soils Consultation

Property Map of Locally Important Soils with Recommendations $50

Local Soils Planning Consultation $50 hour

Schools and Non-Profits, Community Projects

Services provided free of charge unless funding is available. For major projects, we may assist in seeking grant funding for a project.
